Granulated Maple Sugar is the most versatile product that is made from maple syrup. Because it has no available water, this product is totally shelf stable, it will not separate or mold.
Pure maple syrup is the only ingredient in maple granulated sugar. We use “Dark Color, Robust Flavor” maple syrup to make our granulated sugar. It gives a lot of maple flavor without having to use a lot. To make granulated sugar we boil the maple syrup until all water is removed. It is then cooled, stirred and sifted.
Maple sugar can be sprinkled on oatmeal, cold cereal, ice cream, fruit and baked squash.
It’s delicious in coffee, tea, milk, milkshakes, lemonade, custards, puddings, frosting and anywhere else great flavor and sugar are desired.
It’s also great for using as a rub to flavor meats, in baked beans or homemade barbecue sauce.
You can substitute it for white sugar in any baked goods.
